All Feders blades shape are based on XV century Peter von Danzig treatise.

Sparring Weapons are made from quality spring steel and have full punta, and thick edge. Blades are hardened to 48-50 HRC to endure long and heavy training. We give one year warranty on our blades. Pommels are hot peened Durable cord wrap on the grip is hard to cut during sparring.

Excellent weapon. A shame to have to get it dinged up because it is actually a work of art. So far I'm in love with the balance. Great to train with and as always, the staff at Purpleheart were super. This shipped within 24 hours of placing the order.

Truly an excellent sword! I have fought with it a couple of times now and I appreciate the weighty "heft" it has when parrying another blade, despite not being any heavier than the other longswords its up against. The fuller down the length of the blade allows the edge to be thicker, which I think is the secret, it doesn't hurt that it looks cool too!
