Incredibly Well Balanced, but flex is an issue
The weight and balance is perfect for Meyer's style of rapier. My only complaint is the strange hilt deign. The metal ferrule for the handle is attached to the hilt itself instead of the handle itself. This means I can't swap out hilts or handles unless I replace both at the same time. A strange choice, but that won't be a problem for most people. EDIT Aug, 2025: Blade flex has become an issue
Let me preface this by saying I do find enjoyment from using this sword. It's at a kind of middle ground between one handed weapons.One reason I bought this sword was that some guy said it holds up to longsword. I have a hard time believing that.
