Meyer Rappier, Right Handed, V1

Nice blade and handle, look forward to using it in fighting practice.

The weight and balance is perfect for Meyer's style of rapier. My only complaint is the strange hilt deign. The metal ferrule for the handle is attached to the hilt itself instead of the handle itself. This means I can't swap out hilts or handles unless I replace both at the same time. A strange choice, but that won't be a problem for most people.

Let me preface this by saying I do find enjoyment from using this sword. It's at a kind of middle ground between one handed weapons.One reason I bought this sword was that some guy said it holds up to longsword. I have a hard time believing that. I recently bought this and I could not be happier with it. The handling and balance feels great to me. The guard grip and pommel and fit together great and there is no wiggle when tightened down and does not come loose after use.
