Product Code: Poly.Poleaxe2
Poleaxe designed for competition fighting and training. Firm thermoset polymer makes it a strong and stiff product, but still light enough to control the weapon.

Shaft sold separately. We have a hickory and an ash shaft that will work. Hickory is stronger. Better for armoured fighting. Ash is not strong, but light and slightly springy. Better for controlled sparring and training. Thicker shaft may be uncomfortable for smaller hands.
Length: 20" (510 mm)
Width: 7.5"
Pike: 6-5/8" long.
Pike Tip: 1.25" flat.
Pike Flex Test on Scale: Apx 30lbs. Very Stiff.
Axe cutting Edge, 3/16" wide.
Weight: 1.1 lbs.

It arrived and was exactly as I wanted
It was already attached to the shaft which I also purchased and was exactly as I wanted. It was a little slow getting it here, but patience is a virtue, and I'm glad it was done right rather than quickly.

A fun piece of kit
I ordered the polymer axe without the shaft because I want to make my own. Thus I can't say how it handles against a target or opponent, but it is well made and seems very durable. I am pleased so far.
