1-3/8" (35mm) square end for the head, and rectangle grip on the back end.

It will fit the larger Helgi True History Shop Polehammer Heads.
I believe there are 2 sizes, so be sure to check that its 1-3/8" square.

It is 2 layered laminated impact grade hickory. The 2 layers increase strength and reduce possibility of warping.

The shaft that i bought for my halberd is excellent, and just what i was looking for. The shape is nice and feels good in the hand. The length is exactly 5 ft 8 in and the shaft is perfectly straight. The untrimmed section is 14 inches long is a 1 and 9/16th inch square.. Cant wait to trim it down and put it onto the halbred head!
