Viking Western Style, Light, 10th Century

Product Code: VB.Viking.VN02.LR
Steel Viking Trainer made by Viktor Berbekucz in Hungary.

The light version was developed for Codex Belli, with 3 mm (vs. 4mm) blade thickness and narrow fuller.
Used for Western style fighting, where little armour is used, so the light weight allows greater control than the renactment level sword.

This type of sword can be found in several European museums indicating how popular it was throughout Europe. ex. Nationalmuseet, Copenhagen.

In Hungary it can be discovered within the Szob-Vendelin Collection.

Fun C&T sword for SCA use
This is my second one of these. My first one is going strong with heavy use. Will recommend to anyone.

Fantastic
The first time I swung this sword, the experience was so incredible that I was almost moved to tears. It's undoubtedly the finest sword I've ever held, a testament to the craftsmanship of the skilled smith behind its creation. I'm genuinely impressed and incredibly grateful for such a remarkable weapon. It has elevated my training sessions to a whole new level, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to

Much lighter
These are a the same maker as the long swords, they are spring steel and very light due to the fuller and the blade thickness. The blades are very durable as they have thick blunt edges that have been properly tempered.
