The synthetic bucklers a couple years ago had awful handles. These ones (or at least the one I received) is a million times better! Although I was somewhat hoping the synthetic ones would be a bit lighter compared to the steel counterparts.

Great Trainers
We order almost all of our gear from Purpleheart, and their customer service team is impeccable. These trainers have been stupendous and a great aid to our Arming Sword and Companion series. Sturdy enough to practice light sparring, secure handgrip that facilitates ease of changing the angle of deflection without sacrificing your hold on it, and large enough boss space to accommodate training
