This type of sword can be found in several European museums indicating how popular it was throughout Europe. ex. Nationalmuseet, Copenhagen.

In Hungary it can be discovered within the Szob-Vendelin Collection.

Good pluck for you buck
It's a quality sword. Many members of my viking combat group use one if these, including myself. They are durable, well balanced. The work horse you can depend on. Nothing flashy or fancy here. Just a quality sword that won't let you down.

Awesome Sword and Fast Service
I ordered the 10th century sword for Buhurt from Viktor Barbecucz. I intend to use it just for training but it is an amazing piece. It’s well constructed and I can’t believe Purple Heart Armoury is selling it for sub $200.00. I ordered it Saturday and it arrived the following Wednesday. I am really impressed with PHA and have already repurchased from them.

A great fighting sword for Eastren style
This is the second Viking style sword I've purchased from Purple Heart. Both are spectacular pieces, that take a good amount of abuse. They are a little light compared to their "real" counterparts, but this allows for better control when striking lightly armored opponents.Absoblutely love them.
