First, the customer service was beyond helpful regarding my queries and specifications. I ended up getting this feder as well as another shorter blade (since they can easily be swapped). The feder is overall very well balanced, and the custom grip was just as I specified. The blade is a bit on the stiff side for a medium (and SoCal this year said they might now allow it in 2027) but they said the next batch may be a bit more forgiving. That aside, the feder handles really well from how it is balanced to its weight and "presence." Further, the blade itself takes a beating and keeps on hitting. It certainly is one of my top two favorite blades to practice with.
