This is a more historic piece. A moderate weight. We put deep fullers to remove weight, but still have the strength of hickory. The grip is smaller than my synthetic dussacks so you will not be able to use a huge glove with it. If you feel like you have to use a big gloves, then you are hitting too hard, back off and train.
