Based on a model produced by Jessica Finley for historical wrestling training, and inspired by medieval clothing styles. See Sizing tab for more information.
Two layers of fabric, which ensures high durability.
Double seams and qilted collar strengthen the construction.
Elastic panels on the sides ensure ease of movement, allowing you to easily put on and take off the jacket.
Loose sleeves provide additional mobility.
Cotton string, sewn in at the waist level, reduces the possibility of an opponent pulling off the jacket.
The ringen jacket doesn't have 350N certificate because elastic fabric under armpits doesn't fulfill this norm. The rest of the elements of this jacket have this resistance.
Expand chest when measuring. Add 1" (25mm) to include chest plate.

I ordered this jacket several months ago and Purpleheart was spot-on with their delivery estimate. The jacket itself is well made with quality stitching and few/no hanging threads. I haven't yet had the chance to try it out in a training/sparring scenario but I look forward to seeing what this baby can do!

Sturdy
Great jacket. Looks great, well built, & sturdy.It's a bit shorter than I expected, as in it doesn't go past the waist as much as modern jackets/shirts do, but in all imagery of the jacket, it seems that is the intended fit.10/10

Fits like a glove
This is an amazing jacket. It fits snugly but not tightly and offers decent protection against jabs with training daggers. It's also far less hot and sweaty than I'd imagined it would be.

Excellent Jacket
Fits me like a glove, looks sharp, very lightweight compared to gambesons, shipped out in a couple days from ordering.
