Montante No. 04, Custom Build

Bought this for my best friend and his wife, since they're both enjoyers of the medieval.

Great heft and balance for montante training! Would never recommend it for sparring even if controlled, as it has a pretty pointy tip (let alone the fact that light thrusts from this feels like a heavy thrust from a blunt). Works really well for solo drills and just overall body conditioning.

Despite this being the largest sword in my collection the weight and balance are excellent. The sword feels tough and sturdy. No play in the guard or grip. This montante is a joy to swing and practice techniques with.
