Have used a couple times and enjoy it

The weight and balance of this sword is perfection. The grip and the finger ring guard over the ricasso is well proportioned for the index over cross grip, allowing for natural snapping cuts, and accurate thrusts. However the grip is rather narrow and the guard is tight that doesn't lend itself well for grips that don't use the index grip. The guard also doesn't allow for mollinets that roll towards the outside of the wrist, but does wheel when turned towards the inside of the wrist. The blade is long and slender and makes very audible sword wind when cutting. The length of the blade leaves enough mass forward to allow for very worthwhile chopping strokes.The pommel, while aesthetic, would have been better off with a pear or mushroomed profile. The raised circle in the middle can bite into the wrist if you allow your hand to slide even somewhat down the grip.I'll be getting another, this is an elegant blade that facilitates very precise and technical fencing
