I am tall and this skirt is long enough to overlap with my knee protection by an inch, and the padding is thick enough that it's stopped bruises on my thighs from forming as easily. I find the adjustable waist to be a good size (and shape, since it's at a slight angle) and it comfortably overlaps with the bottom edge of my jacket
