The Go‑Now “Glass” rapier is a modern training weapon designed for historical HEMA fencing. Its fiberglass blade—reinforced with a protective plastic layer—offers handling characteristics similar to steel while reliably returning to a straight shape after bending.
Training Use
The Go‑Now “Glass” rapier mimics the mechanical behavior of a steel blade but uses a safer construction and a rubberized tip. Because of this, it can be used with only a fencing mask as minimum protection during light training.
Important Note:
This is a relatively new training tool without long‑term testing or certification. Use common sense and caution, just as you would with any training weapon or even a toy.
