Outstanding safety buckler! |

Most foam equipment sacrifices historical/martial accuracy to achieve a very high degree of safety. That's what I expect and it's a fine tradeoff in order to be able to spar with less protection, enabling more people to take part.
But this buckler has somehow defied that! The size, weight, and construction allow it to be used pretty much exactly as a "real" buckler would. When a couple of our students purchased these as we were studying MS I.33, they quickly became coveted pieces of equipment for sparring.
If I had any quibble it is that the thickness of the foam is a little bit more than it needs to be, but it could be this way for durability. Certainly not a detraction from the overall fantastic design and construction.
Now... can we see a heater shield like this? :)
