A large dagger with an extended handle, naturally usually used in the left hand, which is why it owes its Polish or French name. A weapon popular in Western Europe in the 16th and 17th centuries as a support for a sword or rapier in mounted fencing. It took on various forms, often not much different from an ordinary sword sword. A characteristic feature was the main holster parallel to the sides of the weapon.
This product is modeled on large, specialized dueling parrying dagger. The parameters of the weapon were consulted with the Polish DESW FEDER federation during design and testing. Recommended by top Polish and world players. The weapon complies with most European HEMA tournament regulations.
