A.R.A rapier is stylization of late Spanish-style rapier. In middle ages, such rapiers were optimized for thrust, so there was no opportunity to make cuts.
This rapier is second generation of Rapier Duellist developed together for Accademia Romana D’armi in cooperation with mr. Francesco Loda
Rapier is based on triangular musketeers’ blade with the length 105cm*. Such shape allows to make the weapon light, durable and a maximally long. This way rapier combines durability, light weight and low cost. It have more anatomical and comfortable grip, compared to first generation of duelist rapier, and more short and heavy pommel, what gives an opportunity for better control of blade.

blade. We recommend you to clarify the rules of the competition before buying. If the competition doesn’t
allow using musketeers’ blade, we recommend you to check the Spanish-style rapier.
