There is nothing wrong with these but a small flap of leather would accomplish the same goal.

I like the color, the ease of mounting, and that it helps make it just that much more safe.

I got a couple of these since my brothers new sword has made a few 1 in a Million shots and gone through a small gap in my gloves. The leather tip worked alright but if it flew off it was hard to find among the leaves so the neon color helped spot it faster. At a tournament we went to his sword was deemed not usable and he was given a loaner sword, the loaner couldn't fit the Rubber Blunt w/ Meta
