Great Trainer
I found this to be is a surprisingly good approximation of my Boker combat smatchets. Highly recommended.

Near Perfect Trainer
This is an effective Smatchet trainer. It is made of a very strong polymer/plastic. The dimensions of the trainer are basically identical to that of my Smatchet live blade from Windlass Steelcrafts however the trainer is much lighter. The Windlass Smatchet was built to the original dimensions of the blade created by William E. Fairbairn. I cannot speak to the Boker or Cold steel models. I am able

Excellent sizing.
You'll never find a smatchet trainer on this earth which comes close in terms of heft. Shape and size are excellent for technique development, paracord grip is very well done.
