SPES Officers Fencing Jacket Level 2, 800N

Just like in "Officer" 350N, "Officer" Level 2 is based on classic historical fencing outfits. Alfred Hutton, who lived at the turn of XIX and XX century and is one of the HEMA pioneers, was the inspiration for creating this unique jacket.

"Officer" 800N HEMA Jacket was made especially for fencers fighting with sabre, long sword, or rapier. This HEMA gear is perfect for both trainings and tournaments.

This fencing jacket was designed mostly for single hand sword work bridging the gap between the lighter JF Fencing Jacket and heavier AP Jacket. We found that the excellent protection of the AP jacket is not often needed when doing singlehand sword work, especially with a shield or sabre.

Additional Forearm/elbow guard is recommended.

When checking out using the Custom Size option, include your measurements (according to the Sizing chart in the adjacent tab) in the Comment section during checkout. Do not use punctuation and enter measurements in centimeters (it's made in Europe!) ALL MEASUREMENTS MUST BE INCLUDED.

Resistance & comfort of use – "Officer" 800N HEMA Jacket

"Officer" Jacket Level 2 has an 800N certificate. Because of higher puncture resistance, it ensures better protection and reduce possible injuries during fight. This HEMA jacket has additional decorations in form of red adornments on sleeves and trimming on front part.

Among additional decorations, "Officer" Level 2 can be fitted to a body by adjustable strap on back. Our HEMA gear also has a breathable lining with antibacterial properties. This solution ensures higher air permeability and heat removal.

Sleeves are equipped with mountings, which allow you to mount additional elbow protectors, f.ex. “Shell”. A double mounting on zipper and snaps, ensures a durable and reliable clasp. Safety level has been increased by the use of wide overlap in front with an additional inner mounting, which prevents sliding.

Order on the larger size !

Just received this jacket and was very excited to be able to put it through its paces. It looks great! I am 5'10", weigh 220 with a stocky build, and have a 44" chest at rest. Was torn between the large and XL, but went with the large as a friend said that they ran on the bigger size. Wrong! SPES Officer's Jacket, 800N

I've yet to spar in the jacket due to current lockdown measures, but I like it so far. I got the custom sizing and they did a fine job. The Jacket fits well and I can move properly in it.

Quality fencing jacket

I've been digging into Alfred Hutton's work for the past few years, and when I saw that this jacket is based off his clothing I had to buy one for myself!
