SPES Hard Elbow Guards - Pair

Bought these to replace the standard superior fencing pair that came with my jacket, & im always impressed by spes craftsmanship. They are longer & sturdier than my previous pads, & have a long strip of velcro to attach to my forearm armor. i Actually just ordered the matching wrist guards, to accompany them since i liked the build quality so much.

I bought these as part of the kit with the Geko forearm protectors. They do fit onto the forearm protectors just fine, and they seem to be protective themselves. However, in the pair I received, there's a small annoyance of the main straps being mismatched in size. The smaller strap fits just fine, but the larger one is very loose.

The elbows work just fine. I got into grappling and one of the elastic straps got ripped clean off by a crossguard. The pads themselves are very good, but the strap can only take so much (obviously).
