Excellent Quality and Service November 5, 2020 Reviewer: Tony from Monterey, CA United States   My purchase of the Pentti Synthetic Hand and a Half went over extremely well. From the price to the communication I received to the product itself. There was a small hang up in processing that the team handled personally and my purchase was delivered shortly thereafter. The wrap is tight and neat, the balance is about 2 inches off the cross guard (closer to historical accuracy), and the blade is very durable. It has even once gone head-to-head with my atrim i-beam trainer and seen minimal alteration. Overall supremely happy with the decision. Was this review helpful to you?

Good product, but.... October 18, 2020 Reviewer: Kara Gill from Virginia Beach, VA United States   Love my sword...when I finally got it. It was a week or two past the deliver date before I finally reached out to someone (no one ever reached out to me) to find out that they were out of the plastic to make the order. No one ever reached out to tell me this, I had to inquire it myself and when I asked when they thought they might get more in, they told me they didn't know and that was it. For as much as these swords are, I would have liked a better idea on when it get my actual order. About a week or two after I got the "I don't know email" I did finally get my sword and it's great, but I think the customer service needs a bit more work. Was this review helpful to you?

Good for Sword and Buckler Too! July 28, 2020 Reviewer: Noel from Van Nuys, CA United States   Even though the world is upside down due to covid-19, Purpleheart still delivered an outstanding product! The quality is fantastic. The blade length is almost that of an average rapier with a solid flex in the tip for safety. I was on a strict budget and could only afford one sword even tough I practice longsword and sword and buckler. Then this came along and changed my life for the better! Great balance overall -- whether using it in one or two hands. Sure it's not the "ideal" for longsword techniques nor for sword and buckler, but it delivers a solid middle ground. Can't wait for it to be safe again to train with others and spar. Meantime, I'll be doing conditioning and flow drills :) Again, great job Purpleheart! Was this review helpful to you?
