I use the V2 Montante, which is, by far, the safest version you can grab. In terms of the weapon make, the plastic does have a problem setting, but this is easily overcome by turning it around every now and again wherever you have it stored if you notice its shape bending. More often than not, it will correct itself. However, the real biggest issue with this sword is the center of balance combined with the weight. The COB for the V2 is set at 4.5" from the bottom of the guard, with a 14" guard and the heavier pommel. The V3, as advertised, has a lighter pommel, shorter guard, and the COB is at 7" from the bottom of said guard! I cannot recommend this when practicing with anything short of true plated armor. Even with good padding and absorption, it leaves terrible bruising with light-moderate sparring.
