Gladius Synthetic Trainer

I’m a repeat customer for one reason only: Purpleheart Armoury makes the best domestically produced practice weapons. PERIOD. I own a range of staves and polycarbon practice weapons; and, over the years — so far — none of them have failed either me or my husband in our practice. Not only that, but the wooden weapons that we have get better with age because of proper care and oiling.

We were using the Cold Steel synthetic gladii for training but these have entirely replaced them. It is lighter, faster, and feels better in the hand than the CS. Plus it has shown to be far less likely to lead to major bruising.

The sword lived up to the expectations. I wanted a strong durable sword that i could take anywhere and I got exactly what I wanted. Plenty of verity and I'll definitely be buying another one soon

The gladius is incredibly durable and sturdy. Looks nice, and feels good in the hands. As with any weapon, practicioners should exert control in their weapons as the synthetic material makes it a bit hard in the thrust. Overall, a great tool for the price. As always, Purpleheart was quick to ship it as well.
