Description Sizing

The Extra Heavy Cane is made of 2 layers of laminated Impact Grade Hickory. The shaft is not tapered. So that creates a heavier, stronger cane.

With Stainless Steel Pommel.

The weight is similar to the Heavy Cane, but it does not taper in thickness so the balance is different.

The cane is 1" thick throughout.

See Sizing tab for more information.
Features
  • Made of 2 Layer Impact Grade American Hickory.
  • Stainless Steel Pommel
  • 1" thick throughout, not tapered.

5 of 5 Great first experence, love the cane. August 17, 2022

I had a custom one made, it seriously exceeds my expectations.

I can tell they know what they're doing, from proper balance to minor modifications most would never notice, they focus more on quality & full functionality than looks & it looks great nonetheless so no worries there.

I applied a couple coats of boiled linseed oil to mine after going outside a couple times just to walk around the sidewalks, it really makes their finish & the wood pop and stand out in a good way.

And it's a good finish, I've seen boiled linseed oil take finish off but theirs stayed, and the hardness of the wood is much harder than even ones I've made myself that take quite a beating with no sign of stopping, so I can say yes worth the money for their products.

Great cane, significantly heavier than my Tanjo, so a little slower but as I practice gl, getting stronger & building spear. I got mine full length and take it hiking as, works great!

5 of 5 Heavy Duty Cane with steel pommel March 1, 2022

Ever since I read Dai Sho by Marc Olden I wanted a good quality cane like this, that can double for self defence. Yes I'm getting older too, and this is to paraphrase Ben Kenobi, an elegant weapon for a more civilised age. It looks stylish, and the balance point near to the steel pommel (I wouldn't want this hitting me anywhere either) is as good as any sword I have held, if not better. Most canes are too lightweight, but this is robust and great value (sadly shipping for me to England was almost the same as the cost, but it was worth it). I had a Sherlock Holmes quote put on it and fully intend go down to the Sherlock Holmes Museum in Baker Street with it this summer and show it off. Well done.
