I can do all cutting drills from all angles. The grip locks in my Medium hands. Keep in mind that the historical hilt has handle scales and isn't like Sabre hilts. This is more of a Cutlass from Spain.

Less than Impressed
I am sure of the fact that this trainer can take a large amount of abuse. It is light, but it feels tough. My main gripe with this trainer is that the overall fit and finish is less than desirable. One can still see, and feel the ridges over which the saw was used to cut this. All the edges are rough, and need a passover of low grit sandpaper. It is not uncomfortably rough, but seems hastily made.
