Economy Back of head.

Fit to the back of the mask for easy removable protection that meets HEMA and SCA regulations. Fabric with hard plastic inserts on the inside.
Most economical version. Good choice for a back of head so it can be quickly removed if you don't want to use in practice. Also covers your nape area as required by SCA regulations.

Cooler choice since it only covers the back and the rest of your mask stays vented.

This design does leave a gap near the top of the mask/tongue. It is possible that this protector would be rejected in some tournaments. We would then recommend the SPES Unity cover or PBT Cover.

Mask not included.
Material: Cotton
Weight: 1.1lb / 500g

good for getting bopped
This defends very well from incedental contact from a synthetic longsword swing, and even took the brunt of the impact from a Cold Steel rondel dagger synthetic trainer stab. It does have about a half inch of gap at the peak, but so far that hasn't been an issue, and is unlikely to cause a problem except with steel blunts, as synthetics are just to thick to fit into that gap.
