Indoor Longsword Trainer Wood

Love this indoor practice sword! It’s weighted well, and definitely simulates the feeling of holding a two-handed sword. Love using it to practice when I’m in small spaces and can’t use my broadsword. I also really enjoy the colorful hilt wrap!

Has dramatically improved both my offense & defense practice. Works well with 8 ft or taller ceilings (including large overhead strikes & moves). Got this one primarily since much shorter blade than other options. Well balanced & feels like a heavier longsword. Also good for exercise since on the heavier side. Really nice overall color contrast & good looks. Very nice wood grain on blade & guard, and traditional quality wood construction. One of the nicer wood things I own.- Satin mild steel pommel with 2 horizontal grooves but came partially covered with a thin layer of rust, so cleaned with WD40 & baking soda, then put museum wax on. Still a tiny bit of acceptable staining.- Specs: 52.4 oz, 24.8" overall, 12.63" wood blade, 9" wood black guard (0.8" thick), 9" grip (11.5" overall handle including pommel), 3.13" POB from guard. Hickory. Very nice orangish mid-brown leather wrapped wood rectangular handle. Larger & more comfortable handle than other options.
