I'm really impressed how the dimensions of this sword are perfect for my 5'7" average frame.

My hands hurt... Awesome!
Honestly, I'm not going to admit, a month ago, I was rather sad when I saw the viking trainers were out. But there was this, at about the same price, and in stock. I know I didn't have a friend that had a sword or anything to train with, so I bought a pair to lend to a friend and anyone that is willing. All my "research" has come from brief Wiktenauer readings and some internet friends advice, but this has been the most fun that I've had in a while. I was skeptical at the durability but honestly, I am quite pleased. I've gotten hit hard enough that I have bruises all up and down my arms and hands, and in 2 rare edge cases have split my knuckle on the blunt of my opponents (my friends) blade, thus drawing some blood. Still the trainers have yet to really show any wear at all! Very surprised and yet so pleased! Will be buying from purpleheart again!
