Hungarian Sabre, 17th Century

The shipping was prompt, the saber arrived in perfect condition and handles beautifully while sparring. I use it against a variety of mixed weapons during open mat at my club ranging from katanas, shashkas, sideswords and longswords. Durability wise the saber holds up very well and while some people may believe the flex to be a bit stiff I personally find it more than adequate for safe sparring.

This saber is really awesome if you practice the polish or Hungarian lineage. The weight and point of balance make it flow very well and the design of grip really helps with the "finger cutting" and guard positions in each lineage. I love it and tend to use it more than even my Sigi.

I have a custom saber ordered that’s going to take another 3 months so I got this one to hold me over. The leather seam on the hilt is a little uncomfortable bare handed so I always wear gloves w it but aside from that the balance feels decent and it’s a heavier blade so it’s a good trainer too for muscle strength. I’d say it’s definitely worth the money
