As always, purpleheart delivers on the item they sell. Quick delivery and very good quality. I'm going to try it this weekend

4 of 5 Perfect for reenactment not for sparring December 13, 2022
Reviewer: Steward
Its an awesome sword with mostly accurate handling to real examples, however for HEMA style sparring its a bit too heavy and stiff, go for the light model instead

5 of 5 Viking Sword March 4, 2021

I’m very happy with with my new Sword. It is very well balanced. I like the weight also not too heavy or too light. Fit and finish are also very good.

5 of 5 Straight out of Valhalla August 13, 2020

This spar worthy blade does the Aseir proud. Heavy in hand however historically accurate and well balanced. This is a blade I want at my side when I fight in the shield wall. Skol!

5 of 5 Excellent quality September 15, 2019
Reviewer: Samuel White from Burlington, NC United States
Feels great in the hand, well balanced. Haven't used it in sparring yet, but I don't anticipate it underperforming. If possible, get it cord wrapped. It is a tad less slippery than leather if your hands (as mine do) get sweaty.
