Paratschwert or the Museal (Alternate RA Name) This piece is a replica of an original – 16th century – “paratschwert” which can be found at Schweizerische Landesmuseum, Zürich. Measurements of the finding was taken by Daniel Jaquet. It has a medium flexible blade. With this flexibility the feder is suitable for medium flex fencing. We made small changes on the blade, on the original schilt there is a gap, we made it totally flat. We copied the crossguard and pommel, these have exactly the same dimensions as the original one. The PoB is also exactly the same and the weight too.
