Shipping in a bag instead of a box so one of the blades is bent. Gap between the guard should be wider to facilitate flipping and spinning as is customary of techniques with the butterfly sword. Materials and grip wrap is good.

synthetic butterfly
Feel well in hand because it's plastic it does not need so much attention except if you are brutal with your stuff needs to be soften with sand paper and voilà the perfect synthetic butterfly knife. the only thing I regret was one butterfly knife was missing in my order.

Nice Trainers
These are knives specific to Wing Chun kung fu and other southern Chinese martial arts. I bought these because it is difficult to find trainers that are not crummy, chrome plated items with the wrong shape. So, I was happy to receive these. These feel more like a weapon someone might use than some of the alternatives which are available. I do not practice HEMA . . . I bought them because I practice Wing Chun . . . so I am not sure how they would serve you in HEMA sparring.

Very good
Great training weapon, it's well balenced, well sized, and perfect for sparring. The only thing I don't like is that it's not what the page says, it's not a butterfly knife. It's a butterfly sword. But aside from that, it's good.
