SPES Vectir Forearm and Elbow Protectors Version 2.0 - Pair

  • The Forearm Protectors decrease risk of injury for historical fencing. They are made of sturdy fabric with super-hard low-profile plastic inserts. The design was developed and tested in conjunction with the historical fencing school VECTIR, located in Poland.
  • The Shell Elbow Protectors are an extension to the forearm protectors for more complete arm protection. The elastic Velcro straps allow you to adjust the elbow protectors as necessary in order to ensure a secure fit and full protection.

One Size, Black Only.
Features

Vectir” Forearm and Elbow Protectors v.2.1 (04/2016):

Need extra elbow padding, otherwise good April 28, 2018

This protects my forearms perfectly, but the elbow protection leaves a bit to be desired. There's plenty of coverage, but the plastic is so thing that the shock of a direct blow just transfers through. If you're wearing a thick longsword jacket, this won't be as much of an issue. If not, I recommend wearing volleyball pads or something underneath for better protection.

OMG helpful April 11, 2018

Getting dinged in your arm during long sword practice can be very painful not to say a smack on the elbow. These, even though a tad on the thick side, allowed me to move the training up to full speed and power without the worry of pain. Fantastic investment. Now if only I could hit my opponent more often..... :)

Normally you'd wear these over jacket sleeves..but if you have thin forearms these are great pieces of kit because you can get them under your sleeve without sacrificing mobility.
