These knee pads offer excellent coverage for HEMA fencing. They are made of hard plastic on the outside with a protective padding on the inside. Straps above and below the knee allow a snug fit so that they do not slide as you walk, and it has a hinging feature so that it can bend with you from one stance to another.

Feel great, wearing and getting hit!
They take some time to get used to but they feel good when you have them on. I haven't felt any of the shots I've taken to the knee so they are doing their job.
