This is a more custom and carefully done sword. The blade is black, and we hand paint the engraving with gold paint.
The grip is also octagon and white wood for improved contrast. Similar to the white ivory that was the grips on gladius.

ARudis was a gift to a gladiator for a special achievement. This signified hisrelease from a slave to a freeman. Our Rudis is an excellent and unique givefor someone who has completed service in the military, retired, or completed anacademic achievement.

We can engrave acorporate logo, military insignia, and/or text in a variety of fonts. Emailinstructions to: [email protected] and include order number.

Expedited Shipping
We will hold $15 over and above theshipping amount if your order is due 10 business days or less from the order date. Thiswill expedite the process and eliminate the extra time to track down additionalfunds for fast shipping IF NEEDED.

Engraving
Engraving for the first side of the rudis bladeengraving is included. Engraving on each side of the guard or back side bladeis additional. Please choose options when placing the order.

If we do not have the image on file, a one-timesetup fee is required. The cost will vary based upon complexity of theimage.

All Hail the Caesar

This is my 3rd sword order, but the first Caesar with a black blade. The detail ready stands out with the gold on a black blade. The grip really gives that added touch as well. Perfect sword and stand combo. Also has a long slot cut in it to put coins across. Highly recommend.
