This one-handed medieval sword was typically used in association with a shield. Sometimes called an arming sword when used by a mounted knight, it was used on battlefields from the 12th to the 15th century.  A roundel or buckler  was also common among fighters of that time.

Sturdy June 22, 2017

Have had one for 8 years, has taken me though multiple reenactment organizations through sparring demos, rough use by kids, and "throwing demo" by a fellow reenactor. Came though with nary a dent.

The I.33 waster a true one-hander May 17, 2017

A very well made product. Extremely well balance, sturdy, durable, and most pleasing to the eyes. The precise tool to workout those I.33 techniques.
Previously I also had purchase a pair of the Norman-style short swords, which sadly are no longer available. I hope that now with the growing interest in viking M.A.'s they be brought back, for this style of sword was the transitional model.

]Both the product and the service was excellent. We may buy another one as our are both getting pretty beaten up. My new one from your company is excellent by the way!

Pretty awesome April 25, 2016

Tad blade heavy, but over all really nice and durable. The blade isn't terribly heavy, it is fine and manageable.
