This is wonderful rigid protection that has great cover for the elbows and forearms. It is absolutely worth the price imo. I've used these in training and tournaments, its the only rigid protection you'll need on your arms for both settings. These are intended to be worn over a gambeson and it does feel a little weird at first if you just wear these for training in light gear, but that weird feeling goes away pretty quickly, especially if you wear a long sleeve shirt to train in.
