Pendelziel or "hanging/pendulum target", from Johannes Bierchenauwer's 1556 treatise of which very little is known.

Heavy brass give the techniques good feedback when rolling the pell along the strong and weak sections of your blade. The soft brass allows you to make small cuts into the brass for a perfect binding sensation without any damage to your sharp sword.

Look...I hate static pells. This is the next best thing to an uncooperative partner ya can get.
Legit...you will be forced into footwork work, timing, distance gauging, point control....get it.
Use it.

4 of 5 Good Fun... If You're Not Too Rough September 7, 2019
Reviewer: Brandon Ashley-Fisher from Colorado
Very nice product, but I got a little rowdy with my cuts not too long after I got it and split it in half on the ribbed section just above the ball where it is not solid like the rest of the upper portion. Just keep the cuts light and there should be no issues. Mine also didn't come with the advertised paracord so that's why I'm giving it a four star. I'm not giving it a lower rating for durability because I pushed it a bit outside of what the video showed, but it was a little disappointing to see it fail so soon after I got it, and at the price I would expect it to be more durable. Still, I'll probably get another.

5 of 5 Cat Toy for Sword People March 20, 2018

It jingles, it swings around, you can hit it, feels solid -- ultimate distraction for scholars of the sword. Getting the point through the ring can be rather... Thrustrating.
