I really like this gorget. It has good protection for use in HEMA, and also looks good for use with costumes. Gotta love dual purpose gear!

I agree with many of the other reviews about the sharp-ish edges on the metal plates. A file does solve the issue. Overall, it has strong protection from cuts and thrusts. The front plate does have a slight tendency to fold upwards when raising both arms above the head. This isn't much of an issue when worn under a coat. It's also a great looking piece that would also look well on a costume if you're into that.

Similar to That Guy/Gal gorgets, this is a nicely put together, stout piece of throat protection. I was concerned about fit--I wear a jacket and instructor's vest--but this model gorget fits around both with enough room left to breathe. Highly recommend.

This is a great gorget. It is very comfortable to wear while fighting, it moves fluidly with my body. I would highly recommend this gorget for its comfortability and price.

The price of these is incredible for their build quality! We ordered a set of these for SCA Cut & Thrust and they are just what we needed. The build quality is excellent at an even better price.
