3 of 5 Delicate Strap Attachment Plastic August 17, 2023
Reviewer: Forrest Paige from Cleveland, OH United States
The very first time tightening the straps, with very minimal force, the plastic piece that the strap slots into broke off the shin guard and I had to reattach with metal wire. Be very careful when tightening, support the plastic end with your hand when pulling the elastic tight. Other than that, very light, the knee flexing element is great, stay in place nicely when sparring.

4 of 5 I can't complain for the price July 29, 2019
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from las vegas, NV United States
This appears to be a converted pair of knee and shin guards for motorcross.  For sparring with steel swords, they provide a significant degree of protection, but they could be better if they had "wings" on the sides of the knees to better protect these joints from lateral low attacks; there's a reason that historical armor had this feature.  Also, they can slip down a little bit, although this can't be addressed easily from a design point of view.  On the whole, much better than nothing, and I really can't complain for the price, which is lower than what you would pay if you needed to go and get an x ray.
