Our synthetic Seax was designed to be an inexpensive trainer with incredible strength. A longer blade than the Seax Dagger I call it the Thames War Seax or Langseax. Also used by Grettir, who was perhaps the most famous Viking-age seax fighter.
It requires no maintenance, though for best results it should be stored out of the sun.
I have purchased other synthetic trainers from purplehearr with cord wrapped hilts but this one feels slippery somehow. The POB is far from where the "blade" starts, feels very blade heavy. I use it primarily for drills.

Perfect for what its designed for
Used it in a few sparring sessions against similar weapons and in some sword in shield. Its held up well and I dont foresee any issues. The grip is alil wide for my preference but others may find it perfect so thats only a nitpick.
