Do you offer shipping to Australia?

**Important Update (October 2021) - the USPS has suspended service to Australia (and other countries) due to Covid restrictions. We can still ship UPS but the costs may be prohibitive. Contact us prior to placing your order for a quote.

We do ship to Australia, but due to the Australia Post's limits on package dimensions, we are unable to ship by Priority Mail International as we would for most countries.

For small lightweight packages (under 4 lbs) we are able to ship USPS First Class Package International (estimated cost $30-$45).
For heavier packages shorter than 40 inches on the longest side, we can use USPS Priority Mail International (cost varies widely due to weight of the package).

For packages longer than 40 inches, but 48 inches or less, we use UPS Expedited which gives reasonable rates. We suggest bundling orders with your friends to spread the shipping to an affordable rate. (For example, one Type III Longsword is normally $89 to ship, but I can ship 6 swords for $140. It's all dependent on the size of the box with UPS).

For longer items (over 48 inches on the longest side), we still use UPS, but they impose a surcharge of $65 on the package.

Once you receive your shipping quote and the amount is approved and reauthorized we will charge you for the order, whether it is ready to ship or not. We want to get this part of the processed done up front.

Why is shipping so high for a small item (International)?

Our cart does not have the capability to distinguish between a small item that can ship by First Class Package International (under 4 lbs) and Priority Mail International (over 4 lbs) so the cart is set to default to the higher amount. I can and will edit to the lower amount if your order qualifies. For example, a pair of gloves to Canada is closer to $18, a book to Australia is $20. If paying by Paypal, I will refund the difference.
Taxes and duties are imposed by your country and have nothing to do with us. Some are low, some are high. Please check with your local government office if you are not sure.
Some postal shipping is not calculating correctly either, I recommend getting a quote from us first or agree to pay the additional charges after placing your order. Cancellations will incur the 4% processing fee.

Why is shipping so high for a small item (Domestic US)?

Small items under 3 lbs can ship USPS instead of UPS usually much cheaper. If you are having trouble finding the USPS option follow the steps below:

On the checkout page under the billing address section change both dropdowns to USPS Mail.

How do I track my international package shipped with the postal service?

When we ship your package you will receive an email with a USPS tracking number. Once the USPS exports your package it is sent your your country's postal system. Enter the tracking number on your country's postal service tracking page. Be aware, most times a customs or import fee is due, please be aware they will not deliver with these fees unpaid.

Do you ship to my country? What is the cost?

Please note: Postal rates are quoting low, if you want a shipping quote before placing your order please ask us on chat or customer service email.

We ship to most countries. If your country is not listed in the drop-down menu, please contact Customer Service at [email protected] to request to have your country added to our list and to receive a shipping quote. Puerto Rico and Guam are US territories, so please select country as US and then the state as PR or GU.

Also, some countries impose length limits, if the item you are ordering is longer than allowed by USPS, then we will ship with UPS. The cost is usually significantly higher, we will send you a quote for the new amount. Most countries have a limit of 60 inches, so this usually applies to staffs, polearms, etc.

Australia: $0 will come up on shiping. We will quote you.

Canada: We ship to Canada daily. We will cover brokerage fees. You are required to pay shipping and customs taxes.

South America:

Mexico
: The order MUST NOT exceed $1000 in value. Or you are required to get a special import permit which will cost up to $1000.

What are my payment choices?

We accept payment by Credit Card, Paypal, Check by Mail, or Money Order. Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you.

When will my order ship and what are my shipping charges?

Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices. We will ship your order shortly after we receive payment from you, unless the item is backordered, in which case your order will ship as soon as we have it back in stock.

The cost is usually significantly higher, we will send you a quote for the new amount. Most countries have a limit of 60 inches, so this usually applies to staffs, polearms, etc.

What is the international return policy?

Unfortunately it is usually cost-preventative to initiate a return on international orders. This is why it is important to check and recheck your order to ensure that it is accurate and acceptable.

If you are intent on proceeding with a return, our policies are the same as for Domestic Returns / Exchanges:

You may return or exchange any item that remains in New condition.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Include either a copy of your Invoice with the Item(s) you are Returning / Exchanging highlighted, or write a note that includes the Order Number and the name of the Item(s) being Returned / Exchanged.

Returns for Refund

  • If requesting a return, first send us an email at [email protected].
  • Include your Order Number, the Item(s) you want to return, and the reason for the return.
  • Follow the directions above to send the Item(s) back to us.
  • Once we receive the Item(s) we will credit the amount you paid, minus the shipping charges, back to your original payment method.

Exchanges
  • If making an exchange, begin by ordering the correct item on Purpleheart Armoury.
  • At checkout, write in the Comment Section that you are Processing an Exchange.
  • Include your previous Order Number in the note.
  • Follow the directions above to send the Item(s) back to us.
  • Note: We will charge you shipping on the new order only.

Defective Item(s)
  • If the product you receive is defective, email us at [email protected] explaining the problem.
  • Include your Order Number and the name of the Item(s).
  • We will evaluate the issue, and may decide to cover your return shipping costs.
