5 of 5 Personal and fast service December 30, 2020

I really appreciated getting an immediate response to my text and then being able to talk with someone on the phone right away. Purpleheart came highly recommended by True Edge Academy, and they did not disappoint! We received our order within the week, even during the Christmas rush, and it is a well-made, solid piece that was exactly what my 18-year-old son wanted!

3 of 5 Durable, but has a number of small issues December 29, 2020
Title pretty much. Issues included a *very* slight bend on arrival, a slightly overly wide handle, a tendency to get loose relatively easily, and a balance point very different (1.5 inches) from the advertised specifications (4 inches). Those issues, while small, definitely add up. Blade durability however is excellent. Even after hard sparring, I can run my hand across the edges and feel almost nothing.

5 of 5 Amazing Sword June 30, 2020

I love this sword. It handles great, it isn't crazy heavy, the balance is phenomenal, and my HEMA marshall fell in love with it. You cannot go wrong with this sword.

5 of 5 Absolute Lightsaber of a Feder February 22, 2020
Reviewer: Alex V. from Richmond, VA
This thing slaps, great for refining technique and forcing yourself to fight differently. The handle is tapered very nicely, much more comfortable than the old tournament feders. The point of balance seems closer to the cross than listed on the website, but I am not sure. It handles insanely well and fighting with it for a while even improves my fighting with my full-length tournament feder. The flex is significantly greater than the tournament revision C, almost surprisingly so. It is going to take some time for me to get completely used to, but from my experiences sparring with it for 2 weeks, here is my conclusion: this sword has some significant advantages once you get used to it. Especially if your height is under 6ft, this will feel much more controllable and work to your strengths a little better than a full-length feder. At the very least, it is a great tool to change up your fighting style and improve your skill set.
