4 of 5 Pretty awesome with one exception July 14, 2022

Purple heart is always great to purchase from. The Regenyei Shorty is really well made with a very nice roll on the edge. It has good balance and weight. The sword feels really strong in the bind without being too rude in the thrust. The only issue that I have with is is that the grip is a bit crowded when using with gauntlets. An inch more length and it would be perfect. For reference, I'm 5'7" and wanted a 49" - 50" total length sword. However, my heavies are large. Maybe I just have big hands for my height.

It's what I expected in a Feder. I ordered a grip rewrap and Purple Heart did a great job, looks nice and professional. Shipping was quick.

4 of 5 Great Feder July 12, 2022
Reviewer: Spencer R. from Utah
First the single negative I have is that there are several rust spots on the crossguard, pommel, and rolled tip. The sword may have been in stock for some time without being oiled or waxed.

The positive? Everything else! The shorty feder is my club's feder of choice once members move on from cheap loaners. I found this feder to be easy to control. It manages to feel very light and maneuverable. It is great for thrusts and cuts alike. I'm 5'9" and this feels much better than standard sized feders do.

5 of 5 Excellent! May 26, 2022

I love this feder. It is a good weight for training, and I haven't done any sparring with it yet, but it moves beautifully. I love the wrap on it, (I got green and blue cord wrap - so worth it! Looks amazing). I know it's technically a shorter feder, but I think a larger feder would be more cumbersome with the size of the handle getting in the way for certain manipulations. This is just right for me, and I'm very pleased with it.
