Purpleheart came highly recommended by True Edge Academy, and they did not disappoint! Durable, but has a number of small issues December 29, 2020 Reviewer:   Title pretty much. Issues included a *very* slight bend on arrival, a slightly overly wide handle, a tendency to get loose relatively easily, and a balance point very different (1.5 inches) from the advertised specifications (4 inches). Those issues, while small, definitely add up. Blade durability however is excellent. Even after hard sparring, I can run my hand across the edges and feel almost nothing.
