Good practice messer December 30, 2022 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   Bought this recently and found it to be a very good practice item. The club I’m in generally uses the synthetic dussack for messer work, which tends to bind with my gloves, so this is a much better facsimile of using an actual steel messer. The synthetic material does provide a pretty good balance comparable to some steel messers I’ve used. Overall I’m happy with this item. Shipping was smooth and relatively quick, and I didn’t experience any of the warping of materials others have reported. Was this review helpful to you?

Easily everyone's favourite trainer November 15, 2022 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Canada   Great trainer in general, and messer trainer in particular.  We have a few different brands of synthetic trainer, and everyone prefers this one when given a choice. Blade is nice and stiff; the guard (which seems be aluminum) is nice and solid. Very light in the hand and can be used with light protective equipment; grip is long enough, and blade is short enough, that it can double as an indoor longsword trainer. Shipped quickly. Weight, size, and handling are very close to a sharp Landsknecht Emporium Gottfried. Was this review helpful to you?

Great product. May 12, 2022 Reviewer: Anthony Christianson from Greeneville, TN United States   Product arrived fast. Feels good in the hand as far as balance. The blade is a little short in my opinion and the handle is a touch to long. Good trainer for slow sparring or drill work. Would not recommend full speed sparring as the blade has little to no flex and can be unsafe for your sparring partner. Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome Knife April 22, 2022 Reviewer: Erik from USA   I don't train in any systems that use the Messer specifically. I've done Kali, some German longsword, and used some Chinese weapons. I have to say that the balance is excellent. People I train with agree that this is a great training weapon. As someone who practices Filipino martial arts, this weapon translates very well to stick techniques, more so than the longsword. Also, the weapon looks cool and is durable, as expected with Pentti weapons from Purpleheart. Was this review helpful to you?
