Awesome staff September 25, 2023 Reviewer: Kevin from OH United States   Wanted to pick up a traditional octagonal bo for years, saw them at Purpleheart. Liked the construction; laminated hickory, as they would be trained with. Ordered 2, one for myself and one for a gift. First time handling one was very impressed how nice the octagonal bo felt in hand. It certainly added new dimensions on some techniques. The hickory is nice as well. Has a certain whip to it that is nice for traditional Bo techinque. And the giftee loved his as well. Very happy with purchase and will be keeping Purpleheart in mind for any future needs (ie: 5' Jo staff) Thanks! Was this review helpful to you?

Great bo! August 31, 2023 Reviewer: Nicholas Hewett from Conway, AR United States   I was looking specifically for an octagonal bo staff. That is what my sensei used when I was much, much younger. Now that, after over 20 years, I'm back in martial arts, I'm trying to take advantage of as much training as I can. I have the opportunity to take a seminar on the bo.
