Well, the staff is hard, straight and well balanced. Do the usual light sanding and oiling. NOW, about customer service. I ordered this to Canada, and between Texas and here, the staff got smashed on one end. Like cracked open. I just reported it, sent a pic, and a few days later a new staff was sent. I got it today and it's great! Good people to deal with. All the best!
