Wonderful product, very well balanced. It feels a bit heavy without a glove on.

Fantastic, Simple Trainer! November 8, 2018

With the understanding that you can't quite thrust with these trainers, they still work wonders. My training partner and I went at it for a few minutes at a time. While we went around 60-70% force, they still came out pretty well.

If you're looking for a low-cost trainer to start studying a new system, I'd suggest you get one of Purpleheart Armoury's basic trainers.

LOVE IT!!! I hadn’t realized how useful  polish saber would be for training in Highland Broadsword. Gonna buy another.

Excellent Sabre September 28, 2018

They're much nicer to handle than they would seem. You will still have to be careful about thrusting but for light sparring and technical drills these are perfect. They can also take quite a beating so that's great too; we have some that are still going strong after years.

Plus, I do like the handle design; it's much nicer to hold than most of the other sabres in the range.
